ASURA 2009 will be held across two venues. The lecture sessions (Saturday 21st November and Sunday 22nd November, 2009) will be held at Queensland University of Technology. The workshops will be held in duplicate on Friday the 20th November and Monday 23rd November, 2009. A separate registration is required for lectures and workshops.

 

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) - Gardens Point Campus

The lecture sessions will be held at the Gardens Point Campus of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Centrally located in the CBD of Brisbane, QUT Gardens Point is the home to the Business, IT, Law and Science faculties of the University. The campus is close to a wide range of accomodation and also nearby to restaurants, the Botanical Gardens and other sites of interest within Brisbane. The campus is only 30 minutes from Brisbane International Airport and houses a excellent auditorium with state of the art audio-visual equipment. Mater Mother's Hospital (MMH)

The new Mater Mothers’ Hospital is the premier maternity facility in the southern hemisphere with 88 public maternity beds and 16 birthing rooms. The workshop component of ASURA 2009 will be held in the brand new outpatient facility within the Mater Mother's Hospital. The hospital is only a 15 minute walk from Queensland University of Technology and is also nearby to a wide range of accomodation amenable to both venues.
